SentrisMG Suite

The production and publishing system of Sentris Media Group, a studio that makes documentary videos for YouTube.

Our team uses it to take every video from first idea to release, to upload the finished video to the right YouTube channel, and to see how it performs afterwards. Access is by invitation only; there is no public sign-up.

From idea to release

Every video passes through the same eight stages. The filled ones use YouTube data.

  1. Idea
  2. Script
  3. Voiceover
  4. Animation
  5. Edit
  6. Review
  7. Publish
  8. Measure

Uses YouTube data through Google APIs

Research and writing learn from how earlier videos performed, and automatic editing reads the same reports. Voiceovers are recorded by narrators or generated with AI, animators and editors build the video, and reviewers check every cut. Publishing and measuring work with the channel on YouTube directly.

How SentrisMG Suite uses Google data

SentrisMG Suite reads a channel's private data and makes changes on YouTube only with an authorization from a Google account that owns or manages the channel, usually given by signing in with Google on that channel's settings page. It requests these permissions, shown as Google shows them:

View your YouTube account youtube.readonly
Lists the channel's videos and playlists so each published video is matched to its production record, and confirms that the connected channel is the right one.
View YouTube Analytics reports for your YouTube content yt-analytics.readonly
Reads views, watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, audience demographics, impressions and click-through rate to report how each video performs.
View monetary and non-monetary YouTube Analytics reports for your YouTube content yt-analytics-monetary.readonly
Reads the estimated revenue of each video for the channel owner's financial reporting.
Manage your YouTube videos youtube.upload
Uploads a finished video when a team member presses Upload, with the title, description, tags, thumbnail, schedule and visibility they chose.
See, edit, and permanently delete your YouTube videos, ratings, comments and captions youtube.force-ssl
When a team member asks, it sets thumbnails, updates titles, descriptions, tags and their translations, and adds videos to playlists. It posts the channel's own prepared comment once a video is public, and keeps the channel's About text translated. It never deletes videos, ratings, comments or captions.

The app also reads public YouTube data, such as statistics and public comments, with its own API key. It never changes a video's visibility unless a team member chooses to. A channel owner can disconnect at any time from the channel's settings or from their Google Account permissions.

SentrisMG Suite's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We never sell Google user data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models; the AI services that process it for us are set not to train on it. Exactly what we store, who processes it and how long we keep it is in the privacy policy.

AI in SentrisMG Suite

AI services help our team research and write scripts from how earlier videos performed, generate voiceovers, edit videos automatically, draft titles, descriptions and their translations, summarize public comments on our channels' videos, and design thumbnails for documentary videos.

SentrisMG Suite never uses Google APIs, including the YouTube APIs, to create, upload or distribute AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery, sexually explicit content, or any sexualized depiction of a real person. It has no feature that does this, and using it for that purpose is prohibited by our terms of service.

Who uses it

SentrisMG Suite is built and operated by Sentris SLU, which trades as Sentris Media Group. Our production team uses it, together with a few partner creators we invite. Each partner works in a separate workspace and sees only their own channels.
